If you've never read The Hunger Games trilogy, go read it. Now.
Yes, it's a simple read, meant for a teenage audience, but so what, the premise is fantastic and the characters are very relatable. If you're a fan of grim, post-apocalyptic Earth stories - and you know that I do - then go pick this up, true believers. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: who doesn't love a scorched Earth story where grungy humans use garbage can fires to stay warm at night?!
It's being made into a movie starring Jennifer Lawrence as the heroin, Katniss Everdeen. Enjoy the trailer.
